Dear beloved brothers and sisters,
This summer, from July 29 – August 6, I will be traveling with a team from Jubilee Church to Kandy, Sri Lanka, and I would love to invite you to partner with me through prayer and financial support. We will be serving alongside the Ceylonese Evangelistic Association (CEA), encouraging local churches, pastors, and communities through ministry, outreach, and relationship-building. As I invite you to join this mission, I would also like to share a principle that has personally shaped my faith journey—the principle of sowing and reaping.
Back in 2005, when I was a university student, I had an
opportunity to join a short-term mission trip. However, I felt it
would be more meaningful to support those who desired to go. So I
decided to sponsor more than ten friends, giving 100,000 KRW
each. At that time, 1,000,000 KRW was a significant amount for me
as a student, yet I chose to use it for others instead of
myself.
About eight years later, I was given the opportunity to be
assigned to the Philippines through my company. There, I
experienced the grace of sharing the gospel more freely as a
working professional missionary, with greater financial
stability.
When we sow seeds into God’s kingdom, I truly believe that
God—who neither sleeps nor rests—faithfully nurtures those seeds
and brings forth fruit in His perfect way and timing.
Through this mission letter, I would like to gently but sincerely
encourage all of you. Supporting the Sri Lanka mission team is
not just an act of giving, but an opportunity to sow seeds for
the future in God’s kingdom. I warmly invite you to join us
in this meaningful and exciting journey.
Our team’s total budget is approximately 50,000,000 KRW, and each
member is seeking to raise around 3,000,000 KRW. You may support
