Hey family and friends!!
I'm incredibly grateful and excited for the chance to serve with
my wife Elizabeth and other members of Jubilee Church in Seoul on
a mission trip to the country of Sri Lanka in October of this
year!
This is my first international mission trip in almost 10 years
and in that time God has done so many great things to help
continue developing me into the person and follower of Christ I
am today. In that gap I have had experience working with various
college and youth ministries through the churches we've attended,
gotten my Master's degree in counseling, and have had several
opportunities to use the culmination of those various skillsets
for ministry purposes.
Our main ministry will be leading youth rallies to what we
estimate will be up 300 total of youth and children combined .
I'll also have the great pleasure of working with pastors and
other ministry team leaders on educating them on various
communication and counseling techniques, burnout prevention, and
helping provide effective pastoral counseling to the members of
their churches.
Throughout the past two years God has been revealing to me the
things that I clung to too tightly and where I haven't clung to
him enough. He's teaching me what it means to surrender my life
and my future to what His calling is in each season. I will
always be a work in progress with this but am encouraged and
hopeful that He will help me continue to present myself and all
aspects of my life with open hands instead of clenched fists that
want to hold on to control. The move to Korea has been monumental
in my faith and having a greater reliance on God to be the
ultimate sustainer and provider for my family and me. I trust
He'll continue to lead and provide for us wherever we go and that
we desire to be good stewards of the opportunities to love others
as Christ has loved us.
Family and friends, would you please join me in ministering to
God's children in Sri Lanka through prayers and financial
support?
First and foremost we need prayer! Here are some specifics that
we ask you to join us in prayer about:
1. For the team to be filled with the love of God and united as
one for His cause.
2. Spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical health and protection for all who are going as well as those who are already there in Sri Lanka.
3. For the children and youth of Sri Lanka, pastors, church congregation, and other citizens of Sri Lanka
4. For the love, glory, power, and presence of God to rain down
on Sri Lanka now, as we go to minister to them, and after we
leave.
Date: October 1-9th, 2025
