Fall 2013 Update
Hey Everyone!
An update on the situation: I am enrolled in one class this fall semester. Pastoral Leadership and Discipleship. It has met twice, but already it is fire! It is good to be on campus and with my classmates once again. I missed their fellowship and it has been such an encouragement to be there.
Currently, I am working at an English Academy and also have a few private tutoring gigs. At church, I have been installed as a new deacon officer to assist with the growth and care of the deacon board. My position is the deacon secretary, which is to manage the communication between the elders, and pastors with the deacons in all matters relating to the church. And with the fall season, new bible study groups have formed and I am coleading a group every Sunday!
Personally, I have committed to participate in a bicycle ride from Seoul to Busan [total of 550km or roughly 300miles] in October 2-5 to raise awareness of the human trafficking issue in Korea and raise funds for orphanage ministry, Jerusalem Ministry and the justice ministry, Hope Be Restored. This time around, I am going in faith that my body will be ready and that somehow I will find a suitable bicycle!
My goal is to return to seminary full time in the Spring semester of 2014.
A BIG THANK YOU to all my supporters! Will you continue to cover me in prayer? That I will be focused upon the Lord and drink from the well of Living Water!
