Reah International is a non-profit organization whose purpose is
to glorify God by empowering the body of Christ to engage in
DPRK-involvement.
Reah is the Hebrew or Aramaic word for “friend”. Reah
International is based on John 15:15, where Jesus declared that
we are no longer his servants but his friends if we obey Jesus
and abide in Him. We are transformed as we abide in Jesus and
empowered to impact people in partnership with Jesus.
We have 3 strategic objectives in accomplishing our work:
1. SPONSOR conferences and retreats
a) Empower Conferences enable interactions between:
* Field workers who want to share their visions and
needs WITH people in North America, China, and South Korea
* Those looking for ways to serve WITH opportunities
in the DPRK
* Social entrepreneurs WITH one another to develop
networks that can facilitate work within the DPRK,
including:
- Business
- Education
- Humanitarian aid/development
- Media/information technology
b) Field retreats create space for field workers:
* To rest, restore, and share testimonies
* To build trust in order to foster collaboration in
learned lessons and best practices and to avoid duplication in
the field
* To foster collaboration and sharing of best
practices
2. CONNECT organizations and individuals
a) To viable projects inside the DPRK in search of partners
b) To potential long- and short-term opportunities in areas
relevant to DPRK issues (such as NE China, the DPRK, South Korea,
etc.)
3. PARTNER with strategic initiatives that support our vision and mission in a manner consistent with our core values
