God has poured out so many blessings upon me in this year. Last February, When one of missionaries came back from China, I attended his presentation about All Nation School in the church. After finished presentation on the way home, one of my friends, who attended the same presentation together, said “While I was praying, I was thinking it will be good for you to go to China”. So, I started to consider going to China for a long term mission but I did not take it seriously. However, at that night while praying, all of a sudden, I felt a fire starting in my heart and had a strong desire to go to China. I felt God challenged me to go to China for a long term mission and I prayed “Yes, Lord, send me to China. I will go”.
Since then, I have started to pray about going China. The more I prayed about it, the more I was certain that I should go. I saw the people around me encouraged my decision to go to China and I experienced God is opening the door for me.
I will probably teach Korean or English to children in the school for one year with seeking the opportunity to share the good news and to encourage Christian students. Also, I am open to all the possibilities that God is leading me in All Nation School. My motive for going mission is growing deeper in my faith, having more intimate relationship with Jesus as well as sharing the love of Christ with others, especially those who have not heard the good news.
