Hi friend! 

I'm back in Seoul now. It's crazy how time flies. My life as of late has been nothing, but up in the air. Last year, God revealed that though I found my security in Christ, my whole life wasn't wholly surrendered to Him. I thought I was so secure until God started stripping me of everything I found security in. Long story short, I decided to start living a life trusting in God and not living in fear of the unknown. It's crazy living a life of faith, but I'm so at peace KNOWING and BELIEVING that my life is in good hands because it's in God's hands.
 
I don't know where I'll be a year from now, but I'm excited to see where He'll take me. It's been quite an adventurous journey. He definitely knows how to keep me on my toes. If you haven't heard already, I'll be going back to Indonesia this summer (August 25th - September 1st) along with 9 other members from Jubilee. We will be partnering with our very own missionary couple, Ryan and Carolyn, & an international Christian relief and development organization called Food for the Hungry (www.fh.org) in Medan, Indonesia. We will be ministering mainly to the children of the four villages in Medan and training teachers/ FH's staff through curriculum development. 
 
I'm so ecstatic about going back to the country I fell in love with. It's going to be very different this time, but I know God's going to do amazing things. God really opened my eyes during my first trip to Indonesia and the one thing I learned was that missions is doing life together, anywhere and loving like Jesus. We have been commissioned to go, love like Jesus, and to reconcile people back to the Father by carrying the Gospel into the world where Jesus Christ is not worshipped. I may be going to Indonesia to do just that, but I pray that if you claim Jesus as your Lord and Savior you too will live the missional life right where you are. If you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior I pray that you will in God's timing. 
 
So what do you say we go on this journey together? It would mean the world to me. :)
Indonesia has the largest Muslim population in the world and it's spiritually so heavy.
It's going to be intense. We're going to need all your prayers. Please pray
 
  • that God's glory and love to shine through us wherever we go so that the Gospel will be proclaimed. 
  • that God will prepare the hearts of those we'll encounter so that lives will be transformed through Jesus Christ. Salvation!
  • for wisdom and discernment for everyone... especially the leaders. We want to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit. 
  • for spiritual, emotional, physical, logistical, & every protection possible. 
  • that each member will remain in Christ's love... that His love will unify the team. And that we will love one another as  Christ loves.. AND humble, joyful, & servant hearts.
