Hi!
This year I'm teaching English at Soongsil University in Seoul. It's been a great year. Another reason for that is Jubilee Church, where I've been attending.
Right now we're preparing for August 10-14, when a team from Jubilee will partner with several youth centers in Namyangju (a region about an hour away from Seoul) for a bilingual children's camp.
We would like to raise $500 for supplies since the children and youth center have very little means.

My childhood testimony: I came to know God's hope and love as a child. When I was 4 years old, believing that heaven exists and eternal life is real, I asked Jesus to take away my sins and live in my heart. At the age of 8, due to nightmares and deep fear of darkness, the verse Psalm 4:8 and many others became my hope and I began to read God's word on my own. By age 12 the Lord's call to love others stirred me up and I grew to know God more as prayer became very real to me. I felt a call to be a teacher when I was in high school and was teaching Sunday school at a local Children's Hospital and nearby elementary boarding school.
UNICEF's Children's Rights Convention, through more than 50 articles, clarifies a human's responsibility to respect and honor the well-being of an individual during all crucially developmental 18 years of childhood. Just reading those rights makes a person fired up to love and protect children.
The hope and love of Jesus Christ gives rights: the right to know Him, the right to choose eternal life, the right to turn and be forgiven, the right to be called children of God, and the right to be heirs and co-heirs in an everlasting Kingdom.
That stirs me up! :)
