Dear friends and families,
First and foremost, I would like to thank God for
giving me a daily bread, life and a happy family. The Lord has
blessed me and my family for the last 30 years. I also
would like to thank God for walking me through many trials in my
life, only to grow closer to him in spite of uneasy and difficult
life styles which strengthened my faith and trust in God.
Growing up as a daughter of a soldier, I have gone through
numerous places in the world following my dad’s military
assignments and I would like to share my personal experiences
that I have obtained as I travelled with my family in Germany,
Korea and five different states in the U.S.A., and my faith in
God with those who have not yet had the privilege to hear the
good news.
During August 11- 14th, I will be going to a rural area in Korea called Namyangju with a team from Jubilee Church. This would actually be my second Heartland trip and I am very thrilled and excited to go again and I just can’t wait to see what the Lord has in store.
Some of the things happening during our mission are:
- We will be working with 130 children (3rd-6th graders) to share God’s love through worship, skits, arts & crafts, body worship, VBS songs, and activities.
- During the evenings we will be serving the community in different ways through the outreach works.
I'm excited and motivated about the opportunities and experiences that lie ahead. I hope you see the value in what we will accomplish. As you can imagine, a trip like this requires financial support from a number of people. The cost of the trip is 500,000 KRW or $500 USD.
