Thank you for directing yourself to this page. I would like to briefly share my heart for Namyangju and Heartland Missions.
Heartland 2012 was a year of heartache with the drowning of Jaewook. My heart was hesitant about being involved this year but then, God changed my perspective. In January, while I was in Vancouver visiting my family, I suddenly envisioned Namyangju as a farmer's field with the soil that had been freshly upturned and was ready for seeding. What was once a field of weeds and rocks was now fertile soil awaiting the sprinkling of the seeds.
We have already been to Namyangju on two occasions to meet with the churches there. God was busy at work during the winter season as many of the 'problem' centers from previous years, stated they did not want to be involved this year. It was the confirmation that 2013 Heartland would be a new season of harvest - a new beginning. It is with this vision that God has stirred a passion in my heart to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit and be obedient to His voice.
One of the problems of losing the center leaders was we no longer had a site to hold the camp. God has already provided a location for the camp. It is a local church called ONSE Church led by a humble man of God and we are excited for a long term relationship with this church. It is a perfect location. SO EXCITED!!!
God is at work in Heartland and He has refined one last vision for me. I thought our role would be to go to Heartland and plant seeds. However, with further prayer, the team this year is not going to be the planters but the planted. As stated in John 12:24, the team is to be the actual kernel of wheat that must fall to the ground in order to produce a harvest. With that said, I believe God is going to prepare a specific team that is ready and willing...ALL FOR the GLORY OF GOD!!!
Thank you and please include yourself in this amazing summer of missions. It WILL come to pass because what God has planned and started, He is the FAITHFUL ONE! 1. An amazing journey for the team leaders. We are looking for 12 members. A NEW BEGINNING.
2. A Holy Spirit awakening in the hearts of the children of Namyangju.
3. For EK Church and ONSE Church to be a Christ-intentioned church...not just another modern day church.
