Dear. Friend,
Hello! How is your summer going? I am doing fine.
It has been over two months since I quit my job as a product designer. Some of you may remember me when I was working. I was constantly under stress and had almost no time to myself. It was difficult. I feel God was refining me through that hardship and now He wants me to spend more time with Him. I, too, want to spend time with Him and experience His great love. I feel He is calling me to Heartland, and I say, Yes!
This year the Heartland team is going to a town called Hwado in Namyangju city, from August 9th to 14th. We will be teaching children from grade 1 thru 7 English as well as the gospel. They come from broken homes so they can’t afford to go to English hakwons like the kids in Seoul. While it is a great opportunity for them to learn English, it will be a greater opportunity to receive God as their Savior. The programs we will teach include praise/body worship, skit, arts & crafts, and outdoor activities.
I’d be immensely encouraged if you commit to pray for us.

- Pray for children’s hearts to be opened and prepared to God.
