This summer, from August 6-10, Jubilee Church will be sending out a team to the city of Namyangju in Gyeongi-do, South Korea. This will be my third time joining Jubilee on this particular trip. We will be working with local youth groups and community centers to put on a VBS-type camp for underprivileged elementary and middle school students in the Hwado district. Many of these students come from broken families and from an early age, many of them are taught to believe the lie that they are inferior and have no value because of their background.
The local churches and community centers do not have the resources to put on a camp like this by themselves and each year this camp has meant a lot to them. Through the camp we hope to demonstrate the love of Christ to these students and to plant the seed of the gospel in their hearts.
Personally, it is my joy and privilege to take up even this small role in our global mission as Christians. I'd like to extend the opportunity for you to take part in this trip as well, through prayer and financial support:
- That the children will come with open, receptive hearts, hungry for the gospel
- That the students will come to find their value and identity in Christ
- That we will be able to minister effectively and demonstrate the Father's heart to each and every student that attends

- That our team will be diligent in preparing for and carrying out the camp
