Hi everyone!
Firstly! thank you for taking the time to read this letter~ ^^
This summer, I'm looking forward to an awesome opportunity in spreading God's love
through working with children. Our team will be working with roughly 200 kids in a rural city of South Korea called
Namyangjoo and I'm really excited to show them how precious and loved they all are!
I moved to Seoul, South Korea in August 2011, and working as a
Elementary school teacher ever since has been such an incredible blessing.
This will be my second missions trip but first Heartland and truthfully I'm quite nervous~ as well as feeling a bit
intimidated...but it's OK! I don't have much to offer in terms of skills or talents so I'm going into this just
my plain self BUT with a heart full of passion to serve so please pray for me~
To give you a super short background tidbit. Before coming to Korea, I didn't think love was real and was quite
the jaded girl. Growing up, I never belived in love and it was just another silly, artificial emotion people
manipulated according to their needs. However! God has definitely proven that wrong to me...The answer to
everything is love! and God's love is infinite! He has given me the heart to try to live showing genuine
compassion, kindness, humility, and patience. Children are the best blessings from God with the purest love
=) He wants to show these children how much he adores them through us and I feel incredibly lucky that He
has chosen me to be part of His plan.
" You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit, fruit that will last.
Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name. This is my command: Love each other."
John 15:16-17
Please bless and support our Heartland team through prayer (for Team unity, strength, endless love to pour out onto the children, and protection from any form of negativity) plus if you feel the extra pull on your heart to contribute
financially, that would be awesomeeeeeeee~ .=)
Any form of support is super duper appreciated! Thank you again for taking the time to read this =)
Lots o' love and blessings,
Es
