General Funds
SUPPORT a seminary student scholarship
Assist towards tuition and living expenses for a Japanese theological seminary student at CBS. They represent the future of Japan, and each student is a miracle in a nation of 0.21% Protestants. Seminary families in particular struggle financially as they tend to be quite financially poor in a very expensive country with very little financial earning prospects upon graduation.
SUPPORT a CBS graduate pastor and his family
Upon graduation from seminary, those who enter full-time pastoral ministry will encounter significant financial hardship. Many pastoral positions provide minimal or NO salary. Will you please support these ministers? And please pray!
Help the library get wired!
We need to purchase computers for the new CBS library for cataloging and also student use. Help towards these purchases.
BUY DINNER for a seminary family
Many of our students are struggling financially and often the families or the couples don't have opportunities to go out to a restaurant or for a day trip. Marriage relations also can become strained during studies when they don't have the chance to enjoy a quiet date. Help support a seminary couple for dinner and a babysitter or help support a seminary family for a dinner out. One of our current families has 4 children and another is expecting their 4th soon.
BUY a BOOK for the seminary library
For our accreditation with the Asia Theological Association we need 10,000 volumes in our library. We currently have about 8,000. Also more theological books are needed for students to maximize their learning opportunity.

CBI Japan was founded in 2004 by Dr. Michael Oh and includes a graduate level theological seminary (Christ Bible Seminary), a church planting ministry (All Nations Fellowship), and various evangelistic outreaches including a quarterly downtown event called Heart & Soul.
CBI Japan exists to:
Engage Japanese society with the gospel
Expand the Kingdom of God through church planting
Equip Japanese leaders to reach Japan
