Hi family and friends!
So…you’re probably thinking…mission trip again, to
Cambodia?!?!
Hehehe…yes, I will be participating in my third outreach in
Cambodia, but this time it’ll be in a different province called
Kampong Cham, which is located about 82 miles northeast of the
capital Phnom Penh! I am thoroughly excited to have the
opportunity to be a part of the Vision 2 Reality (V2R) ministry
again, establishing deeper relationships with the youth students
from the House of Peace (HOP) center, as well as ministering to
the village families!
I have been tremendously, extensively, and thankfully blessed by all of you the last two years through your wonderful words of encouragement, your continual prayers, and your financial support! Thank you is definitely not enough. If I could, I would do a happy dance for you! Thank you, thank you for being the awesome family and/or friend anyone could ask for!
This summer, a team of 11 people, including myself, from Jubilee Church will be going to Cambodia from July 28th to Aug. 2nd. We will be joining other brothers and sisters from Korea, US, HOP, as well as Pastors Bobby and Jenny Oh in Phnom Penh then taking a bus up to Kampong Cham together to begin our outreach with the theme, Worship and Healing Prayer. Although there are many things that you may already be thinking and praying about, I would like to ask you to join me in praying for the people of Cambodia as you read this letter and as it comes to mind afterward. Please pray for these three needs:
1) deepening the teachings of Scripture;
2) for the Khmer churches to rise up independently, solidifying
their foundations in the Lord; and
3) for continual restoration, revival, and breakthrough in the
hearts of the Khmer people post-Khmer rouge.
Ezekiel 36-37
If you can also pray for all the members involved with V2R this summer, I would greatly appreciate it:
* unity in ministering to the families in
the villages, as well as unity in fellowship with one
another;
* healing and being set free from our own
bondages;
* protection spiritually and physically,
especially from mosquito bites and illnesses; and
* sensitivity to the Spirit as He leads us
day-to-day.
We cannot do His work without your prayers' covering, so thank you so much for lifting us up to our Sovereign Lord! It’s so amazing to be one body, praying and worshiping our King together! 1 Cor 12: 18-20
I am very, very, very excited to be going back!!! The relationships that I have been maintaining with the HOP students have been so precious and I’m looking forward to meeting and ministering again with them! They truly bring me so much joy and writing this letter puts a great, big smile on my face because I know that in a couple weeks I will be reunited with them worshipping, praying, laughing, and basking in the presence of God together!! How AMAZING!!! ^^ Again, this all began because of your support so thank you!!! God is good!!
