Hello from Seoul, Korea!
The Lord has given me the opportunity to lead an amazing team of brothers and sisters into Beijing, China. We will be serving as small group leaders/coaches for college students looking to improve their English and leadership skills at a conference called Leadership Challenge. The students, ranging from 18-25, are coming from all over China for this conference.
We are hoping to:
1) help shape future leader’s with the character of Christ
2) share the gospel as the relationships are built during the week.
* This conference happens multiple times per year, so we have a long-term vision for serving in this opportunity.
I would ask you to pray for 2 things:
1) Sensitivity to the Holy Spirit as the leader of the team. Please pray for intimacy, the ability to hear God’s voice, and the courage to obey
2) My family: Sarah, Jordan, and my newborn daughter Caitlin will be at home on their own. Please pray for the Lord to give Sarah strength and for protection over them.
Each person needs to raise approximately 1,000 u.s. dollars or 1,000,000 won to cover costs of the trip. Won’t you consider supporting us and investing in the Kingdom of God in China?
2 Corinthians 9:5-6 5 So I thought it necessary to urge the brothers to visit you in advance and finish the arrangements for the generous gift you had promised. Then it will be ready as a generous gift, not as one grudgingly given. 6 Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.
