Letter from the Senior Pastor

Dear friends,

Hello, everyone! Greetings in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ!

We live in an exciting time in history where the world has a unifying language in English, where travel to distant lands is only a plane ride away, and where communication, even to the other side of the planet, can take place in seconds with only the press of a button. Some might say that this "globalization" is for the betterment of human society, and this might be true in a certain sense, but I say that the far greater and truer purpose of this "globalization" is for the advance of the kingdom of God. Hallelujah!

In His sovereignty, God takes all things and uses them for the good of His purpose and the aforementioned characteristics of today's age undoubtedly serve Him on a scale that has never been seen before in the history of mankind. The good news is being spread: that though God's judgment is coming, His salvation is also offered to all by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. In this reality do we find our hope to live and even to die, to grow in the character of Jesus Christ, and to witness His truth in love to all the nations.

We, here at Jubilee Church, are humbled and thankful to know that Jesus has called us to His good, pleasing, and perfect will. In this, we desire nothing more than to be good stewards of the portion of the Great Commission that He has given us. If any of this resonates with you, no matter where you are or what church you attend, let's live radically for Christ and Christ alone, as we await His return.

Church, rise up! Hallelujah and amen!

Yours in Christ,
David Hwang
