Hi all,
This summer I'll be going to Mentawai Islands, Indonesia with a team of seven (including myself) from Jubilee Church. The entire trip will be about 10 days from 16-25 August.
Mentawai Islands is located off the western coast of Sumatra, and is home to the Mentawai people, the indigenous people of the island. And while Mentawai Islands has become relatively more known to the rest of the world with the 2010 tsunami and earthquake, it is still very much a remote place and inaccessible, with only two ferry timings each day.
My team and I will be going to Matobe, a small village in the port city of Sikakap, Mentawai, to minister to the people there. We will be focusing on leadership training, and interacting with the children and youths.
Please consider partnering with me in my last mission trip with Jubilee as I make the transition to King's Cross in September. Prayers and financial support are much appreciated~

Prayer Requests:
1) Unity - For the team to be one in Christ so that we can do His work effectively
2) Journey mercies - We will be traveling a lot by air and sea; 6.5hrs flight to KL --> 1hr flight to Padang --> 5hr ferry ride to Mentawai (***and the 12hr ferry ride back)
3) Safety - We won't have easy access to healthcare/medical services like in the city, so please pray against any serious illnesses/injuries
4) Receptiveness - For both the villagers and the team to be open and responsive to whatever God is doing
