Dear Friends!
I must admit that it has been quite a journey that the Lord has brought me on. I would never have imagined that I would be where I am; in Seoul with a bunch of people seeking to build the kingdom of God. With all the highs and lows, I am still in the midst of change and adjustment.
Personal Update
After finishing another semester at seminary, I went to Nepal with my schoolmates on missions. Then I started the spring semester without the means to finish, and I got stopped out in the middle of the semester. I found that the break was good. I met some non-Christians whom I teach English and we talk about God and my faith. Now, I am helping to lead this mission team this summer and was elected to deacon officer at Jubilee, where I committed to stay for next two years.
EUC 2013
The vision of this summer camp is to bring students from N. Korean descent and S. Koreans together through the Gospel. It is just a little step to help lay groundwork for reunification in the future. The dates are July 22-26 and will be mostly junior high to high school students participating. The staff will consist of volunteers from different English ministries around Seoul, Heavenly Dream School (specifically for NK refugees), and team from the USA.
Prayer Request
- For a heart that is utterly devoted to Jesus so all my actions will reflect glory upon Him.
- For unity in the spirit amongst my team and rest of the staff members. May we put on the armour of God to battle against the forces of the enemy.
- For the hearts of the teenagers coming to the camp to be soft and willing for the Gospel message! And that it would lead many to realize the truth so it would set them free!
We are personally fundraising about 350,000won towards the cost of the trip and to fund a scholarship for NK students to attend the camp.
