Support Letter for the EUC 2012

SUPPORT LETTER

Dear:

I am pleased to write this letter as one of participants for the English Unification Camp (EUC) 2012. I would like to do what God might want me to do for honoring him in South Korea, my home country, because I believe that I have rarely giving him back what I have received from him so far although he gave me a lot of things without a price. My country, South Korea, has accomplished economic growth and social development thanks for the grace of God. North Korea, another country established by Korean ethnic group, however, has difficulty in operating its overall livelihood of the people. What makes South Korea to be strong and rich and North Korea to be weak and poor? In my perspective, South Korea’s economic growth and social development might be impossible without sincere believers and prayers. In other words, North Korea will be rich and strong if North Korean people realize how much God loves them. They currently do not know the fact that God loves them, however, God’s love for them is unlimited and they should know the fact and become the real children of God after realizing the great love. I am convinced that the EUC 2012 will be a good foundation for raising faithful future leaders for North Korea to be escaped from the shackles of the world. Ultimately, North Korean people will return to God through their leadership. To me, therefore, it is clear that this camp needs to be successfully completed under the protection of God.

The EUC 2012 camp is basically designed for adolescents’ strong establishment of self-identity and a proper worldview of God, a harmonized festival through exchange and relationship of both South and North Korean teenagers, and preparation for unified leadership in the epoch of unification throughout education. The camp will be continued at Chungho HRD institute between the 23rd and the 27th of July, 2012 and provide an opportunity to meet the spiritual needs of the youth group from both North and South Korea desperately in need. More than anything, I would value your prayers for our team and those whose lives will be touched by God through us. I believe that God answers prayers, and I’m asking you to pray for safety, good health, smooth travel, and financial support. Just knowing that you will be praying will give me capabilities to help the youth group to establish a close relationship with God.

Beyond your prayers, if you are led to join me by financially supporting this camp, I would be grateful. All camp participants will have to be creative to raise the money, and I want to extend an invitation to you to participate. To make it as easy as possible, I’ve included a page that explains the process for giving and a self-addressed envelope. This is a journey that God has called me to and I would greatly appreciate any level of support you are able to offer.

Again, I really hope things are going well for you. I’d love to hear an update on what’s going on in your life if you have the time. I will definitely be praying for you. Thanks so much for taking your time to read this letter, and if you have any questions, please let me know. Take care, and I am looking forward to hear from you soon!

Best Regards,

Taekyung Song
