Let's build His Kingdom together!

Hello family and friends!

I am writing this letter to let you know of an amazing opportunity that I came across to serve on a summer missions team to Cambodia! I will be part of a team of 10 members who will be serving at Center of Peace, an orphanage in Phnom Penh. We will also visit rural villages to evangelize, distribute medication packages, host revival services and support long-term missionaries in these areas.

This will be my first adventure in Southeast Asia missions work and I am excited to see firsthand how God is moving. I have heard so many stories of how powerful God is at work and I am honored to partner with Jubilee Church and serve in this way.

Would you consider partnering with me in prayer and support? The trip will take place July 26-Aug 1 and I am fundraising 1,700,000won (~$1,700) to cover logistics and ministry costs for the trip.

I pray that God will do mighty things through our team as we do our best to love His people and shine God's light wherever we go. I am so excited for this opportunity and I cannot wait to share with you when I get back.

UPDATE: JULY 7, 2015

Wow. I am speechless! I am so thankful for the friends and family members who are supporting me via finances and prayer for this trip. I am almost at my goal...just $545 to go!

As I continue to pray for the trip, my heart is overwhelmed with the feeling of brother/sister-hood. The children, youth and leaders in Cambodia have no idea who I am. BUT we are already ONE in Christ. How beautiful is that?! I am so excited to meet them and serve them. I really have nothing to bring to the table except my hands and feet and I pray that God will use me as He sees fit. May our team be used to build His Kingdom! We trust and believe in this!

Please keep our team and our fearless leader, Adrienne in your prayers. Also to pray for Cambodia and the Center of Peace. May God's hand cover e v e r y t h i n g. <3

UPDATE: JULY 22, 2015

With your help, I have reached and exceeded my personal fundraising goal!!! T H A N K Y O U!!

We are 4 days away from our trip and I cannot wait!! As I prepare and pray for the children and youth that we will be working with in Cambodia, I am constantly reminded that we are all brothers and sisters in Christ. Even though we are strangers at this point with different languages and walks of life...we are connected as we are all ONE in Christ. How beautiful is that?! I pray that our teams heart for Cambodia will continue to grow.

As we make final preparations, I would like to share my prayer requests. :)

-For unity within the team and with the leaders at Center of Peace.

-That I will serve with a joyful heart no matter the time, place or situation. That I will embody the characteristics of Jesus and strive to serve as He served.

-For smooth logistics, travel, and protection physically, spiritually and emotionally.

-For Cambodia as a nation to see an end to corruption, human trafficking and poverty! For inner healing for the people in Cambodia, especially from the genocide that is tragically woven into the lives of many.
