It has been almost a full year since joining Jubilee as a pastor-in-training, and what a year it's been! I've finished my second year in seminary, grown in hands-on experience in ministry, and gotten married!
Despite not quite reaching my financial goal last year (2013) on Jubilink, God has been faithful in providing at the perfect times what was needed, and He has ensured that I would lean not on my own understanding, but fully upon Him. It hasn't always been easy, but it's always been good, and I'm excited for another year of living by the grace of God.
Having said this, it is my hope that the goal for this year will be reached as I put extra focus on ministry, studies, and my marriage. Thank you to all of you who have donated already, to everyone who has prayed, and to you who are reading this now.
It's an exciting new season for me at Jubilee Youth Ministry, as I get more and more involved and have a chance to preach the Word regularly. I approach this task with fear and trembling and humbly ask for your prayer support in always focusing on the glory of Christ.
I enter into my final year of studies (Lord willing!) and it is a time where I can look more closely at electives that appeal. It promises to be a year which will help in forming the backbone of future ministry also, and so I am excited that you may partner with me in supporting me as I endeavour to finish strong in my studies.
One of the biggest changes of my life came at the end of last year in my marriage to Borra. We've been blessed with a wonderful start to married life and we hope you can pray for us as our relationship with one another continues to grow. May our marriage be a reflection of the Gospel!
