April Update
Hey Everyone,

Our team landed safely in San Diego 2 Thursdays ago and it seems like we've been in Southern California for months!
San Diego
The first thing we did when we landed in SD was to evangelize our stomachs with In-N-Out double-double burgers! We met one of our leaders family there and stayed at their home for the weekend. We were able to do some ministry at her family's home where one of her neighbors received Jesus!
Los Angeles
We are currently in LA and we'll be here until April 28th. We're staying at the LA YWAM base in Lake View Terrace where they've really welcomed us. So far we've been to the downtown area of LA and got a flavor of the city. Also, we went down to Venice Beach a couple of times already where we saw salvation and healings. We also did some prayer walking around the TV and Movie studios in Burbank for the Arts and Entertainment Industry and we also had the opportunity to pray for people.
Openness
One thing that I've noticed here is an openness to receive prayer. There seems to be a hunger for something more than the usual and many people have been open to us praying for them. For example today, we were able to pray for someone in a psychic store and at St. Joseph's hospital!
Springtime
One of the words that we got from David Gibbons from New Song Church in Irvine was that we are here at a very ripe time. The word that he said was that it was like spring in LA. Spring was the very word that we received before we came out to the West Coast when we were back in Kona and it seems like it Spring is here both in the natural and the spiritual.
Please pray with our team that we would continue to meet the people that we are supposed to meet. Pray that God continues to show us His heart for the city and that we can take every opportunity He gives us to preach the Good News of Jesus in words and deed.
Finally I just want to say that I miss you all a lot! The more I'm away from my friends and family, the more I realize how blessed I am to have such amazing prayer and financial supporters like you guys.
