Gnosko Journey
Behold, the former things have come to pass, and new things I now declare; before they spring forth I tell you of them. Sing to the Lord a new song, and His praise from the end of the earth! (Isaiah 42:9-10a)
There’s always hope and His promise secures in His time, and I’m about to take another/different journey of knowing (“GNOSKO”) Him, Gnosko means knowing through experience in Greek and I always wanted to desire to know Him through radical experience with Jesus as the first thing in my life.
This past summer the leader from YWAM school asked me to work together and I felt something NEW was coming up for my next season, but most of all I found that I had so much fear from leaving my financial security, comfortable and stably settled life here in Korea. But recently God has been teaching me again through this opportunity that He is an ultimate source of everything, not money or not my capability. He never forces me or makes me to go but Surely it has been challenging and humbling even in this preparation period, but i know God pleases with faith i'm stepping into, so I decided my life would be totally depend on God in every area because I know that'd be a deeper level of freedom which frees me from value and security of the world.
The spirit of the sovereign Lord is on me, because He has anointed me to preach good news to the poor, He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners. (Isa 61:1)
God had called all of us to be a messenger of His Kingdom to magnify it by carrying His presence, hope, love and freedom to the hopeless and the broken. Now I just respond in a more radical way than other seasons in my life through giving my future and security to His name, His glory by participating works that God is already doing.
