Dear friends and family,
I would like to share about an exciting opportunity I’ve been given this summer. From July 16th- 23rd I will be going on a short term mission trip to Indonesia with a team of five from Jubilee Church.
We will be partnering with Food for the Hungry (FH) ministering in the village of Sendayan in North Sumatra, Indonesia. Our seven days trip will focus on a Leadership Training Retreat for those who serve in FH and also spend time ministering to the youth of the village.
While God has opened up a door for me to develop a greater heart of compassion for His people around the world, would you partner with me being a prayer and/or financial supporter? As you can imagine, a trip like this requires financial support. At this time we need to raise about $1,500 (1,700,000won) each. If you can support me in a financial way, I would be very grateful. And, most importantly, I also need your prayer support. First, pray for my team. We will need prayers that God will prepare us for our visit and bless our efforts as we minister in the village. And for protection and safety. Second, as some of you may know, humidity and I don’t do well together. Would you pray that God will give me strength and energy during the stay there. Third, that His LOVE will be displayed in all that we do.
I am looking forward to seeing how God will work in and through me. Your support and/or prayer would mean a lot to me. Thank you for any way you feel God leading you to help.
