Hi, my friends. I hope you all are doing well.
I am still in a seminary school called "Presbyterian
College and Theology Seminary"(장신대). Studying at my school has
been tough for me. However, I believe I have gone through it well
so far. I have one more semester left. Now, I am on a holiday.
During the holiday, I am attending a mission trip with my church
called Jubilee.
Before I begin to introduce my mission trip, I would like
to introduce Jubilee Church. Jubilee is an inter-denominational,
inter-cultural church serving the English-speaking communities in
Korea for the purpose of world missions.
The mission of Jubilee is to make disciples who are trained to be
ministers of the gospel and devoted to a lifestyle of
missions. The vision of Jubilee is to be a mobilizing,
training, and sending hub for missions from South Korea to all
nations.
Through Jubilee church, I have been through many challenges
such as being surrounded around mostly English speakers and being
involved in English church ministries even though English is my
second lagauge. I think I will overcome this becuase God has put
me in Jubilee for his purpose. I haven't found his plans and
purposes yet, but I will say that God has provided me with
everything in the past and will provide in the future.
This time I have a new challenge. It is a mission trip. It
is called "Heartland". Heartland is an outreach project to the
rural areas of Korea where there is a need for the Gospel. On
August 4-9th, Jubilee will have a VBS style Engish Camp program
that shares the Gospel through games, sports, activities, arts
and lots of love.
I would like to ask you to help me in this mission. I know
most of you guys are busy and doing your ministry at your church
and oversea. However, I just ask you for your support because our
team really needs your help. First of all, pray for our team. We
need to be filled with God's providing. If God doesn't work, it
means nothing. Without him, we are nothing. Please pray for that.
