This summer Jubilee Church will be sending out a team to the city of Namyangju in Gyeongi-do, South Korea. This will be my second time joining a team from Jubilee to Namyangju. We will be working with local youth group students to put on an English camp for underprivileged elementary and middle school students in the Hwado district. Through the camp we hope to teach these students the gospel and to demonstrate the love of Christ.
Personally, I'm excited to take up even this small role in our global mission as Christians. I'd like to extend the opportunity for you to take part in this trip as well, through prayer:
- For team unity – that everyday we would demonstrate the gospel to one another in love
- That the children will have open, receptive hearts hungry for the gospel
- That we will be able to minister to each and every student that attends
- That our team will be diligent in preparing for and carrying out the camp
- For the health of our team
- Against succumbing to the attacks of the enemy
- For God's providence in raising funds for the trip (50만원/~$415 per individual)
