Hello!!
It is I, Sarah Kim, your Korea residing friend writing to let you know I am soon-to-be China bound!
As my time here comes to a close, I have the opportunity to set out on a mission trip to the northern most city of China. For over the past year I have been serving at Jubilee Church in Seoul and this summer I will be one of 15 members who will bring the good news to 8th grade students during a one week English Camp in Harbin.
From July 10th to July 17th we will be working with a school that has been established by a missionary whose vision is to raise leaders for Christ from a young age. The students will be taught English and dance, will take part in various activities as well as build relationships with us leaders, sharing in Christ’s love.
As you may or may not know, China’s government is not very open to Christianity or other religions so it will be quite the challenge to spread the gospel to these kids indirectly.
Your prayers and financial support for the team would be very much appreciated at this time as we prepare for the camp. We are trying to raise around $6,000 together as a group and are hoping to raise enough funds to support our costs as well as support for the camp.
