Dearest Brother and Sister in Christ,
I am excited to share with you my heart for summer missions in Cambodia this year.
In the past, I had this reoccurring dream: I’m in a house and God and all His glory is knocking at my door. On the other side, I’m contemplating weather to let Him in or not... Foolish, right?
A few years later – after finally letting Him in with much reluctance…
I have another reoccurring dream: I’m living in a huge house that seems to have endless number of beautiful rooms but I insist on living in the smallest, ugliest room in the basement. So I've been asking Him, show me the biggest most beautiful room!
God has been challenging me to live to the FULLEST, so that He would be glorified to the FULLEST. To no longer live in partiality but to pursue Him whole heartedly and to be intentional in everyway in my relationship with Him and also with others. God wants this for everyone, for everyone to realize their full identity in Christ and to live it out to the fullest so God can be most glorified!
This will be my second time going to Cambodia, but this year I will be staying behind for an additional two weeks. I will be in Cambodia for three weeks in total and will be involved in the following:
First, there will be a Young Adult retreat. For one full week, the Jubilee Cambodia team will be living together with Cambodian high school and college students as well as some post college leadership. This will be an opportunity for them to experience God, as they develop relationships and do outreach.
The second and third week I will be staying with Pastor Jenny Oh and working with two orphanages and possibly a shelter for girls in high risk of trafficking. This will focus mainly on VBS for the elementary and junior high children, as well as serving the adults and their community with providing necessary medicine, prayers for the sick and outreach to villages.
Please pray for:
- God’s sovereign work in Cambodia as a nation to come to know Christ.
- For the people and organizations we will be parterning with (DTS Cambodia), and Pastor Jenny and Bob Oh.
- For the team to be prepared in our spirit and soul, and to experience God in the preparation process as well as our ministry in Cambodia and for protection.
As you cover me and my team in prayer and feel called to make a financial contribution, please donate as much as you feel you are being lead.
