Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Thank you so much for your interest in our upcoming Cambodia trip. We will be departing at the end of July to work with an orphanage and help minister at a women's conference. During these next weeks of preparation, we will be devoting additional time into praying for the trip. Some aspects of the trip you can pray for:
-spiritual protection for our minds and bodies,
-increased thirst to spread God's love to the people we meet in Cambodia,
-effectiveness and efficiency in carrying out the tasks, and
-unity of members and learning through teamwork.
Personally, this trip is highly anticipated, as I put on spiritual armor and in a sense step out onto a battlefield that is occuring in both the spiritual and physical realm. I feel as though I haven't stretched my spiritual muscles for some time, and this is an opportunity for me to do so. I expect to be challenged during the process of preparation and by the trip itself, yet I also know that Christ will emerge victorious; therefore, I know my excitement is not exaggerated, nor will my expectations for God's work be undermined.
Praise God for what He has done in me, so that I may be an offering poured out for His glory.
