Hello family and friends,
It has been almost two years since I have been in Korea and I have yet to openly admit how much I have to come enjoy being here. I was totally ignorant to think that I came out to Korea on my own, with my own dreams to pursue. Never in my life did I imagine myself writing a support letter for missions, but here I am, dazzled at how God can soften the most unyielding heart.
God is teaching me a lot about how great He is and how I need to surrender everything to Him. Nothing has been going my way since I have been here, but truthfully God has only given me the best of everything. Very slowly I am beginning to understand how my strengths cannot compare to the power of our Lord. Knowing all this, God is still patient and faithful in teaching me to rely on Him in everything. I am totally fearful and unsure of what to expect as I set out on my first missions trip this summer so I ask that you will support me through prayer.
Prayer topics:
1) me - to be rid of any skepticism and to expect only the best from our Lord
2) team - genuine love; unity with God and within the group; be led by the Spirit and not by our own abilities
3) Pastor Jenny Oh - to speak only truth; turn to the Lord for guidance
4) women of Cambodia - to hear to God's word with fervency and turn their hearts to the Lord
