Dear family and friends,
On July 16th, I will be part of a team of five going on a mission
trip to Indonesia. We will be partnering with Food for the Hungry
(FH) to lead a youth program in Sendayan village. As most of you
may know, this will be my very first mission trip outside of the
mission field I grew up in as a missionary kid in India. Lately,
God has been so gracious to me that I wanted to serve him in a
way that requires me to step out of my comfort zone. I believe
that God has given us all authority "to go make disciples of
all nations" and I feel led to humbly serve during this
season of rest.
Indonesia is known to have a pretty high population of Muslim
believers. We believe God uses the hands and feet of the weak to
lead the strong, and through the gospel I'm sure that God is
going to use and work through us in a mighty way! (Amen!)
We cannot do this mission alone! I will be very grateful if you
would prayerfully consider contributing to this mission. The cost
of this trip is around US $1,500 (1,700,000 Won) per person (This
covers Flights, Food, Lodging, Ministry cost, Visa, Training for
6 day activities). If God blesses me more than this cost, it will
go to the team activities.
