My Story…
Isaiah 52:7
How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, "Your God reigns!"
One of the missionaries in China came to my church and shared during the service. When he shared, something hit my heart…that’s how my heart began.
The opportunity came to go to China but couldn’t go b/c of security reason. so, I gave up everything in the States and came back to Korea to go to China. I had no idea how to go to China and had no connection but God put me one of the fellowship meetings where people have heart for China. At the end of 1997, I went to China for a vision trip with 21 other people.
New Year’s Eve, we had an awesome communion in front of Tiananmen Square Gate. When we were sharing wine and bread, many Chinese police came and surrounded us. I guess they wondered what we were doing. Back in the days, the security was much tighter than now but we didn’t really care whether we die right there or not. We were not afraid. We were blessed to commune and worship God together on New Year’s Eve in China. I felt that God really protected us and stayed with us.
Next morning, I woke up early and grabbed my Bible immediately which I don’t usually do that but I felt that I had to. As soon as I opened the Bible, I heard gentle voice. It was my second time to really hear his voice.
“You are mine, you are mine!”
I knew it was God so I began to read the words.
It was Isa. 43:1.
With this verse, I went back to China to live there in 1998. God showed me how he answers our prayer in his way. God really broke me to be used for his kingdom.
Even now, I remember the time I had in China. How blessed I was. That’s the reason why I keep going to China cause I know God is working amazingly.

God planned and led me to the right path all the time. I am not a good story teller but God is and His amazing story through my life hasn’t finished yet and I am going to continue to do his good work until I see him face to face…
