Hello!
My name is Reina. I'm an Indonesian who was born and raised in Jakarta. I stayed in Korea for 4.5 years as a university student in Busan and worked as a designer in Seoul.During my stay in Korea, I joined Kyungsung University's CCC where I recommit my life to serve God in any way He wants me to and since then, my life has never been the same.
When I heard about the plan for a mission trip to Indonesia during Jubilee membership meeting, I felt called to join the team. As an Indonesian, I never try to reach out to the people in my own country. So when this team of people from all over the world planned to do so, I was really convicted. Despite the geographical problem I’m facing as I have to go back to Jakarta before the mission training, I'm incredibly grateful as God allows me to be part of this team without any significant issue.
We will be partnering with Food for the Hungry (FH). FH has been working in Indonesia, the most populous Muslim nation in the world, since 2005 and aims to alleviate all forms of poverty through holistic programming and approach.
I will be meeting the team in Padang on August 17th, 2017 where we would take a ferry to Sikakap Island where we will stay for approximately 7 days. We will be focusing on leadership training with the local church leaders. We will also carry out youth and children's ministry along with village outreach.
Here's the honest truth. It would be difficult to travel to Sikakap in the Mentawai Islands without your financial and prayer supports. If you feel led by God to be involved in this mission trip, here's how you can participate in this mission journey.

The total cost of the trip is ₩9,100,000 (1.3 million won per person). The fund will be used cover the cost for the flight, ferry tickets, accommodations, ministries, etc.
