English Unification Camp 2018

Fundraising Completed

Help Support Eunha's Summer Missions Camp with NK Youths!

This July, I'll be joining my first missions trip to nowhere other than... Korea!

My home church in Seoul Jubilee Church in partnership with other local churches and the Heavenly Dream School (HDS), which is the world's largest school for North Korean defectors, will be participating in HDS's annual English Unification Camp (EUC) just outside of Seoul from July 23 through July 27, 2018

The camp brings together more than 230 SK and NK defector youths (with some joining from abroad) and 80+ volunteers. I'll be serving as one of the small group leaders during the camp, sharing the gospel and building relationships with 9-10 students for the entire week.

Many of these NK defectors tend to have led very treacherous lives, and we pray that God will use this camp to shine His light upon them and to bless them with meaningful relationships.

Given the recent political developments surrounding the Korean peninsula, it is important to raise up the next generation of SK and NK Christians, who will be able to usher in the reunification of the two Koreas. And for that reason, I'm excited to be able to do a small part to support HDS's important mission.

In order to make this missions trip possible, I need your support. Just 300 USD will pay for my food, lodging, transportation, materials, and supplies. Our team has already pledged half the amount to invest in this missions. Would you partner with us to help fund the remaining half?

Please consider supporting 2018 EUC by making donations of $25, $50, $100 or more. To give, you can visit our Jubilink fundraising page.

Prayer Requests:

  • For my heart to be ready and willing to be used by God
  • For the hearts of the Korean youths (both SK and NK) to be fertile soil for the gospel
  • For team bonding and unity as we train for the next few weeks
  • For safety, health, and protection

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting peoples sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ's ambassdors, as though God were making his appeal through us." (2 Corinthians 5:17-20)

Blessings,

Eun-Ha
