Hi,
Most of you don't know me as I joined the Jubillee church recently.
I am from Albania, and become christian 2004 with CCC (Campus
Crusade fro Christ). I came from a Muslim background. My sister
become christian when she was in University and I was high school
that time, when i heard about her I start teasing and joking about
her decision of becoming a christian. I thought being a christian
is fr weak people who cant face the difficulty of life and that God
wont send "bread" from heaven. I went to university a year later
and me and my family moved in another city so I had no friends
there and after class i was bored so my sister invited me to
student meeting with CCC, and i decide to go with idea to play with
those "stupid" Hallelujah people. So i start going to the meetings
and was fun coz they organized games and gave present. They invited
me in Christmas big conference and was free so I joined it. In that
conference i was surprise why student from all Albania were so nice
at me and looks so happy even they didntt know me. I started
thinking smth makes them being nice and happy. After that a staff
of CCC shared the gospel with me and I accepted but didnt really
understand that much by that time.
I start doing bible study
and join a local church. I was involved in CCC the 4 yours of my
university and after moved in capital to work and found another
local church where I had possibility to serve in children ministry
most of the time.
I took part in some mission trip in Albania, Turkey and Macedonia
before,
Since I came in Korea, I
lived in Cheonan, to learn kreaN language and I attended
Calvary Chapel, small church.
Im used to go in small churches allmy christian life, and the
decision to be part of a big church was kinda hard for me, but I
saw this as an apportunity to serve more. I was so exciting that it
was a possibility to serve in mission trip when i heard and kept
thinking about Cambodia. God put in my heart to serve there and an
opportunity to help and show love to kids but at same time for me
to grow.
For this trip I will need support of you and other friends.Bible
says we are part of same body and together we can work better,
without each other we have no meaning. I will need you prayer
first. This is a new culture for me and a language I don’t know. I
need guidance from God how to behave and to be understood from the
kids, and how to show them the love of God. Also this is my first
time in a mission trip with a team non Albanian. We are people from
different countries and different background, age, so communication
might be difficult sometimes. Please pray we going to be in unity
and understandable and tolerant to each other. We going to support
each other in team and encourage.
And finacial support as well will be appreciated. :)
Thank you in advance for your prayers and support. Thank you for
being a partner with me and the team in this mission.
Shalom
Kida
