About This Project

Reah International is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to glorify God by empowering the people of the DPRK, one person and one project at a time.

Our vision is to empower the people of the DPRK by creating viable and sustainable long-term projects inside the DPRK.

Our mission is to serve frontier field workers in the DPRK by facilitating the matching of provision, people, prayer, and project support services.

Reah is the Hebrew or Aramaic word for “friend.” Reah International is based on John 15:15, where Jesus declared that we are no longer his servants but his friends if we obey Jesus and abide in Him. We are transformed as we abide in Jesus and empowered to impact people in partnership with Jesus.

We accomplish our mission through 3 strategic objectives:

1. SPONSORS conferences and retreats:

Empower conferences enable:
* field workers to share their visions and needs with people in North America, China, and South Korea. those looking for ways to serve in the DPRK to connect with opportunities those interested in the DPRK to connect with one another and develop networks that can facilitate work within the DPRK, including:
Business
Education
Humanitarian aid/development
Media/information technology

Field retreats create:
* space for field workers to rest, restore, and share testimonies.
* build trust in order to foster collaboration in learned lessons and best practices and to avoid duplication field
* retreats to foster collaboration and sharing of best practices.

2. CONNECT organizations and individuals to:

* viable projects inside the DPRK in search of partners
* potential long- and short-term opportunities in areas relevant to DPRK issues (such as NE China, the DPRK,South Korea, Japan and others).

3. PARTNER with strategic initiatives that support our vision and mission in a manner consistent with our core values such as:

* North Korean-English dictionary revision.
* School for English teachers in Pyongyang.
